My name is Mike Townson and I am UX Designer who lives in Dallas, Texas. My whole life has be devoted to web design since first getting on the web. - Building and enforcing design standards for the client facing pages of AA.com
- Lead designer for $80 million grossing Cross Sell process for the new AA.com

- Client management - Explain the process of the site development and SEO process to the client, while collecting content and providing answers to project questions

Project Manager (contract) – GBI Media July 2010 – October 2010
- Project Scope – Conducted multiple meetings with clients to fully understand the vision of what the final project should be. Helped to clarify the objectives and deadlines for the project.
- Art Direction – Led the design initiative on projects and final approval on all design solutions.
- Technology Liaison – Researched what the client needed and presented it to the development team to meet functionality specifications.
Web Designer & Developer – Yellow 7 Interactive July 2009 – July 2010
- Project Management – Was lead contact for multiple interactive web and branding campaign clients.
- Design – Created first draft web designs that were approved and later developed into fully functioning websites.
- Development – Built many web projects from scratch using HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery & MooTools), and PHP. On most projects I was the only developer until debugging stage.
Art Director – Home Upgrades Magazine March 2009 – July 2009
- Design – Brought on board to create and design a magazine from concept to fruition, this included: Logo, layout, color scheme, ad placement, website, and advertising.
- Development – Followed printer specifications, created internal documents for sales team, and designed and developed website.
Marketing – Craig International September 2007 - January 2009
- Multi-purpose – Was hired on to head the web marketing, but took on many positions soon after. These included Web Designer & Developer, Art Director, Project Management, and IT Director.
- Project Management – Led the new launch project for www.craigranchtexas.com, helped lead the move from the old office to the new office, along with the opening of the new information center. First point of contact for many hired firms such as: The Richards Group, Virtual Sciences, and Southland Technologies, Inc.
- Design – Designed ads and displays that were published in Golf Weekly, Avid Golfer Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, and on display at the American Airlines Center.
